Greatest Royal Rumble 2018 – Live Stream Updates and More
Less than a month after WrestleMania took up more than half of your life, WWE is back with another event that’s probably too long. It’s The Greatest Royal Rumble, it’s sneaking up on all of us, and it’s a great excuse to call into work sick this Friday.
You can also gamble on it, so maybe don’t call into work sick this Friday, actually. Or, engage optimism, call in sick forever because of all the dough you’re about to rake in. Look, no promises, other than I promise you WWE is going to figure out what’s at stake for the Greatest Royal Rumble winner sometime before Friday. They have to, right? I’m going two-to-one odds that they do.
“The hospitality and fans were phenomenal. The crowds and fans are awesome. They are very passionate and it is great to come out to the Middle East and bring our culture of entertainment to them.”
On winning a championship on the main WWE roster
“Since I’ve been on Raw I have hunted down and gone after every champion out there. I went after Brock Lesnar and the Universal Championship and I have gone after the IC Championship. It is an inevitability I will become a champion in the WWE. It is what I do. I go out there and people get out. It is is an inevitability.”
“Intrigued is the best word that I have to describe it. The audacity of the match if anything. That many people in a ring at once, and really the amount of time involved. If you are in from the start you are in for a marathon. I do think it will make for one wild brawl. It will be interesting to see how it comes up.”
On tactics ahead of his four-man ladder match for the Intercontinental Championship against champion Seth Rollins and fellow challengers The Miz and Finn Balor
“I think the best way to describe me is that I am a very simplistic individual. I believe that taking people to the ground and keeping them there is the best way to do it.
“A ladder match is always a wildcard and you always have to put yourself in the most precarious position in the match just before you try and win by climbing to the top of the ladder so it is always a wildcard match.
“I am more than convinced I will be able to climb the ladder and grab the title and become the new IC champion at the Greatest Royal Rumble in Saudi Arabia.”
Best of luck to everyone out there who plans on putting down some dollars this weekend. Nobody really knows what to make of the Greatest Royal Rumble, so maybe this is the perfect time to scratch your gambling itch. Of course, With Spandex is not responsible for any money you lose while gambling on professional wrestling, but we insist you share your winnings with us if you put your next paycheck on Rusev and he pulls off the upset.
“It is going to my first time in Saudi Arabia and I am over the moon and excited about it. To have the chance to experience a new place and a new culture first hand is always a great opportunity.”
he WWE is set to hold its Greatest Royal Rumble event in less than a week from Saudi Arabia, and fans are buzzing as to who they think will walk away from the historic bout as the victor.
50 men will step into the ring for a Battle Royal, and while the winner’s prize has yet to be determined, simply winning the historic bout will be a huge notch in that Superstar’s belt moving forward.
The card is stacked from top to bottom; featuring a Casket match between The Undertaker and Rusev, a Ladder match for the Intercontinental Title, Roman Reigns challenging Brock Lesnar for the Universal Title inside a Steel Cage, and many more.
Currently most of the WWE roster is expected to participate in the Greatest Royal Rumble main event, as it’s going to take a lot of man power to make the match a success.
As to who is expected to walk away from the bout victorious, betting odds have finally been released for the entire card.
